How we help you build a positive relationship with your dog

Our group classes offer you a positive approach to real-life situations.

About our classes

We limit our class sizes so you can still have enough one on one help so you and your dog can succeed. Classes include 6 sessions and are based on skill levels. Because you and your dog will meet other dogs of every age and size out in the world, we train in a real-world environment in class. So instead of taking the run of the mill group classes where you only meet other dogs of a similar age and size, your dog will be attending with dogs of all ages and sizes.  $275

There are no make up classes.

Registration for Group Classes

Due to COVID 19 group classes are not being scheduled more than a couple of weeks in advance. Our group classes are currently being held outside. We pay special attention to the temperatures so you and your dog won't be training in conditions that are too hot or cold for your dog.

What Do I Bring?

  • You should bring your dog to every class.
  • A regular leash, NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES, PLEASE!
  • A long training leash. You can purchase a 30  or 20-foot leash when you purchase your class if you don't have one. We'll bring it to you in the first class.
  • A copy of your dog's shot records. No photos, please. You can email a PDF file of those records to waggingtailstraining.ca@gmail.com before the sessions begin.
  • Any corrective equipment needs to be evaluated by one of the trainers in the first class.
  • And some food or treats for rewards

What happens if my dog is too disruptive?

Group classes are not for dogs with acute behavioral issues or severe aggression. If you begin a group class and we find that your dog is not going to do well in the group because of their behavior, we would be happy to transfer you to another type of training. Just like you, we want the best for your dog and want them to do well.

What kind of behavior is not for group class?

If your dog is displays defensive or forward aggression, i.e., lunging growling, snapping, or biting, when he views a threat from dogs or people, please call before registering for a class.
